CREAT3D at MACH Exhibition 2022

From Monday 4th to Friday 8th April, the CREAT3D team was at the NEC in Birmingham for MACH Exhibition 2022. We bought along a selection of high quality 3D printers, ideal for engineering and manufacturing applications, and new materials such as Nylon 12 GF for the Formlabs Fuse 1, and Precise PLA from Markforged.

“I can’t believe it has been 4 years since the last MACH Show! Another great event, a huge show with some amazing stands, and a great snapshot of British Engineering and Manufacturing” exclaimed Managing Director Simon Chandler

Additive Manufacturing was a key theme of MACH 2022, with its own dedicated 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing Zone. At stand 17-614, our team of Additive experts were busy throughout the week, demonstrating our industrial 3D printers and having interesting conversations with visitors.

“We had some really interesting conversations with leading manufacturing companies.” said Marketing Director Sabina Gonzalez-George. “Many people are experiencing the same issues; struggling to source components and spares from traditional supply chains and rising costs. It was great to be able to discuss real solutions, using Additive, that will help solve these problems.”

Some of these real solutions include composite and metal 3D printing from Markforged, affordable SLS and SLA 3D printing from Formlabs, and ultra-fast 3D printing from Nexa3D.

Within UK manufacturing, Additive is recognised as a cost-effective problem solving tool, and visitors were keen to find out more about the various solutions on offer, and what their businesses could achieve and save! by adopting this technology.

Thank you to all the people who came to our stand and saw the latest in Additive Manufacturing technology, and learnt how other UK companies are using this to save money and make big efficiency gains, whilst also avoiding the recent supply chain issues and making their businesses more flexible and future-ready!
